Most people look a business up on their phone before they visit. If the site is slow or confusing, they simply go somewhere else.

The person behind QuanceWeb.
I'm Adam Quance, and QuanceWeb is my one-person web design business, building websites for any business around Hull and Hessle: shops and trades, salons and gyms, cafés and restaurants, clinics, offices and growing companies.
I started QuanceWeb because so many of the local places I love either don't have a website, or have one that's slow, out of date or hard to use on a phone. Good local businesses deserve a website that's as good as they are, and that brings in new customers rather than putting them off.
Every site I make is designed around one business. I look at who your customers are, what they need to find quickly (your prices, your opening hours, how to book or order) and how they'll find you on Google, then build something clean and fast that feels like you, not like a template.
Because it's just me, you always deal with the person actually building your site. No account managers, no call centre, and no jargon. If you need a price changed or a new photo added, you message me and it gets done.

I price each website based on how big your business is, so smaller businesses pay less. I'll design your homepage first for free, then you'll get a clear written quote with one agreed price before any other work starts. Payments are due on the 1st of the month.
All of them. The six example sites show a bakery, barber, takeaway, gym, salon and greengrocer, but I build websites for any business: trades, clinics, restaurants, offices, charities, larger companies and everything in between.
Most websites take a few weeks from first chat to launch. The biggest factor is usually how quickly we can pull together your photos, prices and wording, and I can help with all of those.
Yes. I can rebuild an existing site so it's faster, works properly on every device and is easier for customers to use, keeping the address your customers already know.
No. I can set up your web address and hosting for you, or work with ones you already have. Everything stays in your name.
Yes. Just send me what you'd like changing, such as new opening hours, a seasonal menu or an offer, and I'll update it for you.
That's where I'm based, but I work with businesses anywhere. Everything can be done by email, phone or video call.
